Emotional Reset

Emotional Resets are just as important as physical resets for our bodies. So much of our physical DIS-ease and symptoms can often be linked to bitterness, anger, and unforgiveness. Proverbs 17:22 tells us a merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones. In my work with clients over the last 2 decades, I have found that choosing to forgive and release those who have hurt, wounded, and offended us can provide healing in the most miraculous ways - spirit, soul, and body.

I have included a forgiveness prayer below from Whole Soul Ministries.

According to Proverbs 18:21 life and death are in the power of the tongue, and I fully believe that saying this prayer out loud is powerful and authoritative.

Forgiveness prayer:

Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for the riches of Your kindness, mercy, and

patience, knowing that Your kindness has led me to repentance (Romans 2:4). I confess that I have not extended that same patience and kindness toward others who have offended me. Instead I have held anger, bitterness and resentment in my heart. I pray that during this time of self-examination, You would bring to mind all the people that I need to forgive in order that I may do so now (Matthew 18:35).

(Begin writing down the names that come to mind)

Father, in the Name of Jesus Christ, as an act of my will, I choose to forgive the

following people:

1. I choose to forgive & release (name) for (describe what he/she did)

2. I choose to forgive & release (name) for (describe what he/she did)

3. Etc., etc.

4. Did you forgive yourself and God?

Thank you for setting me free from the bondage of my bitterness. I also pray that if I have offended others, You will bring to mind only those people from whom I need

to seek forgiveness and the extent to which I need to seek it (Matthew 5: 23,24). I ask this in the precious name of Jesus. Amen.
