A Story You May Not Know

In 2016, I received a prophetic word from a wonderful Spirit-filled woman who was operating in obedience and faith to share what the Lord had put on her heart concerning me. In short, she told me that there would be a time when the Lord would call me home to be with my children and that I would no longer be practicing therapy the way that I had been. Instead, the Lord would give me a way to stay relevant with the gift of counsel He had placed on my life while allowing my family to be my first ministry. She also prophesied that the Lord sent a big brown teddy bear to show His great love for me. At that time, I had not shared with anyone except my husband that I was in the early months of my 4th pregnancy with our now almost 8-year-old Phoenix.

I share this story for 3 reasons:

1. To encourage you today that the Lord goes before us in every situation. As the prophet Jeremiah spoke, He knows the plans that He has for us which are plans to prosper us and not to harm us. Plans to give us hope and a future.

2. Proverbs 16:9 "We can make our plans, but the Lord determines our steps." Almost 8 years ago, I had no idea I would be home-educating my children, completely practicing counseling online, and would be a practitioner helping my community with reversing dis-ease in the body using holistic modalities. Hold your plans loosely, partner with the Holy Spirit in EVERY area of your life, and trust that He is working on your behalf to accomplish His will and purposes in and through you!
